The primary role of this position is to answer inbound calls from the Vast Broadband Commercial customer base.  Candidates will be responsible for providing Tier 1 and Tier 2 support to providers and customers members in a call center environment. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Respond to telephone inquiries
  • Ability to work across multiple departments within one organization and effectively communicate information, build partnerships, demonstrate the “one team” approach, while achieving timely results
  • Communicate appropriate options for resolution in a timely manner
  • Follow assigned schedule to ensure accurate phone coverage, monitors priority of calls and shifts escalated calls to assure resolution of problems
  • Provide quality internal and external customer service surrounding the Company values
  • Excellent attendance
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Education and/or Experience:

  • At least 2 years of inbound and/or outbound call center experience
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Telecommunications experience preferred. 
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, with proficiency in Excel and Word.

Language Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in the English language (Bilingual, Spanish is a plus)
  • Ability to hear, speak, and communicate clearly on the telephone
